We are starting to see more Mac usage by our faculty, and have been able to integrate our iMacs into our Active Directory pretty easily. However, we just ran into a problem...a faculty member with a Mac Book Pro took his laptop home for the first time this semester, and then could not log in. His "account" is in Active Directory, and without the network, no login. On XP laptops, the SAM database is cached locally, so that when someone takes their laptop away from our network, they can still log in and get their profile. Any way to accomplish this with a Mac?
