We’re seeing crashes in
the following scenarios:

1)     
User has Outlook
open and WP opened at the same time.  User closes all WP docs but leaves WP
open.  It is supposed to create a new blank document, but crashes.

2)     
Off and on crashes
when user uses print preview.

3)     
On the day SP1 came
out, WP would crash on opening if a non-admin user opened it.  If an admin
user opened it, it would prompt to run the SP.  If you said no to that and
downloaded SP1 directly from corel.com and ran the sp that way, you would never
be able to open WP again.  We had to do a complete uninstall, registry
clean and then a re-install.  Good thing we tested the SP before silently
rolling it out to everyone.

The SP claims to fix a problem
with WP and Word that is similar to the problem we are seeing with
Outlook.  Logged in as an admin after the update, I didn’t see the
problem.  Our user reported that he still experienced it though.

In general we’re just
seeing X4  and SP1 as just not quite there yet.  It just seems like
we’re getting more support calls on X4 than on X3, and more WP support
questions than Word.

I don’t have X4 in the
wild yet.  Waiting for at least SP1 (just checked and SP1 is out –
whoopee, more upgrades).
