Study Room Scheduling Software

Hi All -

 
Anyone know of a
simple to use web application for students to use to reserve library study
rooms?  I know about uReserve, but wondered what else people are
using.  Thanks.

Budget Numbers?

Hello Everybody,

 

I’ve been a lurker on this list for several years now but have a
pressing question that is just perfect for this group, so here it goes:

 

I’ve been summoned in to a meeting this Thursday with our Dean
where he is going to explore ways to cut our budget. I thought it might be
helpful to get a sense of budget from other Law School IT departments on
staffing and budget. I’d appreciate it if you would take a minute to answer the
following quick information for me. In case you need the information sometime,
I’ve included our numbers below.

 

Overall IT Budget excluding salaries:  about $50,000

Total staff including IT manager: 3.5 (The .5 training position funded
through our central campus, another is 50% funded from our central campus)

 

Number of faculty served:  30 full-time; 15 adjunct per semester

Number of staff served: 45 full time

 

I’d appreciate anything you can share along the above lines.
