Dear All,

Do you have some favorite feeds and feed readers, please? We're talking with an advanced legal research class about how to stay current. Thank you.

Best,
Will

Google Reader is far and away the best feed reader, in my opinion. Nothing else allows me to fly through so many feeds with so much ease to find just what I want to read on a particular day.As for feeds, I think ./'s front page is a good thing to follow. For those new to blogs, the Technorati Top 100 is a good place to start looking for great content. Most major tradmedia websites (CNN, Washington Post, WSJ, NYT) allow you to build your own feed, more or less, by category or search term. I find that very useful.
I also subscribe to a Twitter search on my name and a couple of areas of interest. And my family members' Flickr and Picasa feeds, so I can see when they post something new. And, of course, I subscribe to a number of blogs in my practice area that interest me. Oh, and a couple of web comics. I like Diesel Sweeties, Goats, and XKCD.
