Laser pointer for poor and/or color-blind vision

Hi,

One of our faculty cannot see a red laser pointer, both because of
color-blindedness and because it is so small. Has anyone found a good
pointer that addresses these?

He has not tried green pointers, so I am considering getting one of
those. But ideally we would have one with a larger circle (or that we
can bring out of focus to make the circle larger).

Holy CRAP. They understand this is the same technology that you can now
buy for about $1.50 in pet stores to entertain your cat, right? What
accounts for that price, other than the color? If I paid that much for
a laser pointer, I'd strap the frickin' thing to the head of a shark and
use it to hold the U.S. ransom for ONE MILLION DOLLARS.
